Course Sequence

Digital Media Explorations Sequence

A flexible project sequence across 2D, 3D, video, audio, and interactive media, with rotating units and creative builds by session.

This sequence

  • Students work through self-paced media assignments during the week
  • Weekly live online events build on that work with demos, critiques, project work, and shared exploration
  • Areas may include 2D graphics, 3D work, video, audio, animation, and interactive experiences
  • Units can rotate by tool, medium, theme, or project goal instead of following fixed public titles

What families should know

  • Students explore both creative choices and the technical ideas behind how computers represent media
  • Projects might include covers, posters, audio scenes, simple 3D pieces, short videos, or interactive experiments
  • Software and platform requirements vary by session and are shared before kickoff
  • Prior experience is not required unless a later sequence class is marked otherwise
